About
Hi! My name is Adrianne and I’m a 20-something year old dog trainer who is also obsessed with rabbits. In time I hope to breed and show English angoras and lionheads (with probably a few other breeds kept for fun), but that has to wait until I move someplace where I have room for more rabbits. Once that happens this site will become fully dedicated to my rabbitry, but until then I plan on posting pictures and stories of all the stuff my rabbits manage to get into. As a dog trainer I’m especially interested in clicker training and am going to attempt to clicker train my crew, so I’ll post progress on the blog as well. In addition to rabbits I also like art, specifically digital art and hand lettering/brush calligraphy so I may post some of my work here as well. My eventual goal is to create rabbit-related art to put up on Redbubble since I can’t be the only one who wants shirts of my favourite rabbit breeds. I also hope to compile articles from breeders much more experienced than I am on how to properly care for rabbits, as there is a lot of misinformation out there.
If you have any questions about my animals feel free to ask. For the most part the way I care for my rabbits and house them is done for specific reasons based on my own research. My rabbits are pets and I love them deeply but I care for them the way most breeders do rather than the way a lot of pet-only sites recommend. In fact, based on my experiences and research I strongly disagree with a lot of the information out there on how to care for pet rabbits. If you disagree with my husbandry practices that’s fine – you’re more than welcome to care for your own rabbits the way you feel is best, which is what I’m doing with mine.
